Mola solar system is building 112.5 MW in Mali
04.10.2011: Mola Solar Systems GmbH, Duisburg will build four photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 112.5 megawatts in Mali. Managing Director David Mola confirmed to PHOTON that the projects should be implemented within three years. Construction of the first 50 MW Solar Park in Fana to start late 2011 or early 2012. In addition, 50 MW in Ségou, 12 MW in Koutiala and 0.5 MW in Banja Gara will be built. The four Projects have a total investment volume of about € 400 million. The funding is secured through »international investors«, said Mola. A feed-in tariff for 30 years had been assured by the government in Mali. According to Mola, the project can be expanded up to 200 MW. In parallel, Mola Solar System will build a Solar Module factory in Mali. The Modules are intended for the West African market. The plant with an annual capacity of about 16 MW could be built in 2012

The photovoltaic power plant will be built by Mola Solar System, a German company, and its JV partner Mali Mola Solar System, with support from the German government.
The plant will be the first of a series of photovoltaic solar power plants planned to be erected during the next three years with a total capacity of 112 MW. The total cost of the project is 370 million Euros. The project is totally financed by the German company and backed by the German state. The CEO David Mola visited recently Mali to complete all the details of the project.
The power plant construction will start during December 2011 and completion will be in June 2012. With this project Mola Solar Systems, Mali has initiated a new era in Mali and Africa.

Elektromobile i-MiEV
Mitsubishi has done its best und announced that the electric car i-MiEV will be put into large-scale production. The i-MiEV that only weighs 1110 kg and measures only 340cm, is equipped with a permanent-magnetic synchronous motor and brings 49Kw(67ps) on the road.
The loading time if a battery is completely discharged, will take six hours with the normal residential electric service.
Together with a 200V/50kW, via three phase current connection, you will reach 30 minutes and a maximum capacity of 80%.
